Model T Ford

Something a bit different today. I got this in an e-mail this morning and thought it was too good not to share. The picture above is the front of the penny postcard.
One cent to mail it, things have changed a bit since 1929. Not the least being the simplicity of the address.
But then check out the other side. Now if I could get my car serviced for this price I'd be a real happy camper.

But then again I don't think you can buy any car for this price nowadays.

The Ford Model T (Tin Lizzie) was produced from 1908 through 1927, and this is what a 1912 model looked like.

And of course this is what you can make them look like nowadays. But I don't think the $650 would make a dent on a restoration like this.

Of course we can't have a post without any music so who better than T-Model Ford to Cut You Loose.
