The Storm are a Danish duo with a great sound. It's been hard tracking down any information on them. Maybe that the name gets confused with a short story, or a natural disaster. Also it could be their range of different looks. Bottom line they are worth tracking down, especially this new album, check it out.
Here's what they have to say about themselves.
In the past we have both had our fair share of succes, travelled the world and the seven seas. Johan as The Captain of the good ship MEW, Pernille as popsiren in the national treasure orchestra; Swan Lee. As time went by we started searching for something else, something new. We found the key, high up in the northern woods, one gloomy winters night. A song was born and so was a musical bond. This bond took us many places; a mountain top in Tuscany, a seaside in Spain, a skyscraber in Japan and a road to nowhere in west USA. Song after song kept crawling out from underneath. And so we decided to raise our flag. We ended up in the scorching Arizona dessert, with the King of Kings; Roy Thomas Baker, creating our first album "Where the storm meets the ground". And oh yes, indeed it did! Now back in the cold north we call home, the record is out!
