Delta Rae hail from Durham, NC. They are Ian Hölljes, Eric Hölljes, Brittany Hölljes, Elizabeth Hopkins, Mike McKee, and Grant Emerson.
Songwriter brothers Ian and Eric Hölljes called on their younger sister Brittany and childhood friend Elizabeth Hopkins to front their rootsy pop tunes. Says Hopkins, 27, "I could sing harmony with Brittany in my sleep." Delta Rae's frontwomen give Ian and Eric props for writing lyrics from a female perspective. Says Brittany, "My mom did a good job imbuing them with some good, sensitive souls."
